Non-Governmental Partnership “Informational Culture” (NGO “INFOCULTURE”), is a not-for-profit organization with the interest in establishing and promoting Open Government and Open Data concept.

We base on the principle of  freedom of information and the need for transparency and accountability.

We aim to strengthen public participation in decision-making, to extend individuals influence on society-related issues,  to facilitate the effective use of information for progressive social change, and to support government accessibility, transparency and accountability through improving access to government information by making it available online.

We seek better future, better governance, better economy, better culture, better life.



On October 18,2012, within the framework of Russian Internet Week RIW//12 and under the auspices of "Infoculture" First Russian Crowdsourcing Conference CROWDCON will be held.

Based on previously gained experience in the filed of open data resources development and public promotion, and the interest raised among the society and State authorities in Russia in Open Data expertise, NGO ”INFOCULTURE” developed initiatives in support of the development, implementation and promotion of effective tools of efficient and successful informational interaction between the government authorities and the society. In particular two ongoing projects -  OpenGovData.ru and Apps4Russia.
